I really like this one! The colors are very fresh and it makes me think of oranges for some reason.A perfect dress for warm summer nights.
I do love the collar, the assymetry makes the design very interesting and elegant.
Personally I find the yellow buttons on the collar a very nice touch but on the waistband it's a bit too distracting and takes away from the focus on the collar.

I could just imagine a lemon yellow tulle petticoat under this that when one is moving or there's a slight wind you could see at the gap since the buttons end pretty high up ^^.. just my two cents again.

Oh and I've been wondering about this for a while. You sid you'd paint the flowers on with gouache. I personally only ever used it on paper and wonder how it reacts on fabric. Doesn't it get very hard? I'm really curious about this

Oh, no... I've painted the pattern in gouache for the sketch. I'll probably use textile paint for the actual garment. I should take that out of the comment.

I don't know how to go about sewing the petticoat to make it that full, I'm looking into it.

ooooohhh!!!!............i luv the button detail...its so cute and the way the haultertop comes around the neck and is buttoned on and asymetrical.....so cul.....
